By car
Via autobahn A17 from Dresden to Prague You reach the departure Pirna. There You leave the autobahn
northwards and drive on over the Elbe towards Radeberg. Turn immediately right after the „Sachsenbrücke“
and head into direction of Neustadt. After passing Lohmen and Rathewalde You arrive at the junction to
Bad Schandau & Waltersdorf where You continue to the right. Reaching Waltersdorf turn sharply right again
to Kurort Rathen. After entering the village please follow the street „Zum Grünbach“
for 300 meters. On the left You will find the entrance to our location.
Our tip for all guests using GPS:
Please enter the destination as follows:
01824 Rathen, Waltersdorfer Berg 7 Then please follow the street „Zum Grünbach“ for further 150 meters.
Unfortunately some GPS will send You into wrong directions 20 kilometers before your destination due to
some software error.
Per rail
Please search for a suitable railroad connection to the central station in Dresden. There you have have access
to the suburban train S1 towards Bad Schandau. Exit the train at Kurort Rathen. Then cross the river using
the ferry. From there head straight ahead to the municipal office. After 300 meters you pass a small monument
where there is a driveway to our location on the right side. Please use the signs that will help you find the right
direction.
We care to transport Your luggage from the ferry and back. Just give us a note.
By bicycle
Pedal along the Elbe Cycle Path until You reach the Kurort Rathen. Then cross the river with the ferry. From
there head straightahead to the municipal office. After 300 meters you pass a small monument where there is a
driveway to our location on the right side. Please use the signs that will help you find the right direction.
By plane
Please search for a suitable connection to the Airport Dresden-Klotzsche. Inside the Terminal You have access
to the suburban train towards Bad Schandau. Please deboard the train at Kurort Rathen.
